To certify or not

When my husband passed away he left his coin collection to me. Other than the mint and proof sets none of the coins are certified. How do I know what coins to have certified and what ones are not worth the cost? I have joined PCGS, but am overwhelmed with the number of coins that he had. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sandy,
I am sorry for your loss.
Check to see if there's a PCGS Authorized Dealer in your area:
http://www.pcgs.com/dealer/index.chtml
They can help you decide what coins would benefit from certification.
Best wishes,
President
