Would you request a refund on shipping for this??
Just wanted to get a few opinions on this. I purchased this from an ebay seller on Christmas night and paid immediately via Paypal. See ebay auction I paid for UPS Next day air shipping and insurance which they charged me $33.00 for, as I wanted the item to be here on Thursday (win auction & pay Tuesday night, they can ship on Wednesday, I get on Thursday). However, I still have not received item today so I emailed her and asked, and she said that due to the holidays, she hasn't gotten around to ship yet and will ship it today. If she ships today, now I won't get it until Monday as UPS doesn't do Saturday delivery I don't believe. Would y'all request a refund of the shipping paid for the difference between the next day air and the regular ground now?? I'm sure she's still going to ship it via UPS next day air once she finally gets around to sending it, but should I have the expectation that I should have got it Thursday and therefore request a refund.
I guess in a way, if she does end up shipping it Next day air, then technically, I got what I paid for, but I'm just having a little extra heartburn and believe that the expedited shipping methods should not have been offered if she wasn't going to go ship them the next day.
Let me know your thoughts.
Mike

<< <i>I think you should ask for a refund of the difference. It wasn't your fault that she delayed the shipping so it's all on her. It was her responsability to send it out immediately which she didn't do, therefore, she should refund you the difference in price. >>
The Holidays are a strange time for eBay activities. I sold two items last week, one was paid for almost instantly, the other I've still not heard a peep from the buyer. No replies to invoices, nothing. Maybe they're mailing the payment it, but it would be nice to at least receive a note.
Not only would I be asking for the difference, but some extra grease because she dropped the ball.
