More like cleaned then AT'ed...

Upcoming TT IHC.....

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    That one is sad.

    I remember, years ago when ICG just started up reading their material where they stated any coin received by them for grading/holdering was subject to not being graded- even if it was problem free- at the discretion of ICG.

    I don't know if ICG ever followed up that disclaimer by denying any coins for service, but the concept isn't lost on me.

    I can see ANACS simply refusing to holder a coin like this one featured in this thread as not being 'worthy' (for the lack of a better term) of their plastic.

    There's a couple of others, same auction, right next to this one......ugh!
    They aren't "retoned", imho, they are "attempts at learning doctoring and what might holder..where"

    I'm often confused by what ANACS means by "retoned." Does it mean AT'd after the coin was cleaned? Or does it mean it naturally toned afterwards?
