I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    That one is sad.

    I remember, years ago when ICG just started up reading their material where they stated any coin received by them for grading/holdering was subject to not being graded- even if it was problem free- at the discretion of ICG.

    I don't know if ICG ever followed up that disclaimer by denying any coins for service, but the concept isn't lost on me.

    I can see ANACS simply refusing to holder a coin like this one featured in this thread as not being 'worthy' (for the lack of a better term) of their plastic.

    They aren't "retoned", imho, they are "attempts at learning doctoring and what might holder..where"

  • I'm often confused by what ANACS means by "retoned." Does it mean AT'd after the coin was cleaned? Or does it mean it naturally toned afterwards?
