The Best Pitcher/Catcher Auto card EVER !!

I recently picked up this 2005 Topps (Fan Favorites) autograph card of Nolan Ryan & Johnny Bench.

The autos are ON the card, NOT on stickers !

For a 2005 card,,, i swear i have never seen one for sale before. Even though its card #11 of 50 made.

Its funny, but 1968 brought us Peace,, Love,, and the best pitcher and catcher duo in my lifetime.

  • To answer some Questions,

This is the first card of the 2000 century i`ve bought. I have no idea about packs, boxes or cost of this 2005 topps product.

    I paid just enough image

But the numbers say their are 50 of them out there.

The pics are not of their rookie cards,, the Ryan (69/70) the Bench (1971)

Again, for a Topps product thats a couple / three years old,,,,,,,,,,, this is the first one i`ve seen for sale ?? !!

    Thanks, Lee

Lee great card! How have you been buddy? I haven't seen you around much.

Still doing the autos i see. That one is sweet!

Have a healthy and prosperous 08!

    Good for you.
  • Hey Steve, yeah i`m still collecting on a much smaller scale. I`m trying to stay focused on collecting Cincinnati Reds rare and oddball items, and Ohio State Buckeyes Football cards and tickets.

And honestly, i really do not think its healthy to spend to much time on any chat board.

Now i`m just waiting until bob shows up with a Ryan/Bench/Mantle auto card

    Your friend, Lee
  • I have had 3 of those bench/ryan cards go through my hands. I have one still.
I believe book was only $150 (too low in my mind for this card)...I have sold them for 200-350.

Indeed one of my favorite cards.

Although this vlad card is a sticker, it is still my favorite card, slightly edging out my nolan/bench card, and one I will probably never part with. Vlad is one of my favorite players.

    Speeder,

That is an awesome card that I never knew existed. I may have to go on the hunt for one myself!

    Congrats and happy collecting!
