1891 Seated Liberty Half Dollar

I have this 1891 seated half dollar, and was wondering if there are SL gurus out there who can enlighten me on the nuances of circulation vs. proof strike characteristics. The fields have the granular appearance of a proof like coin, with fairly sharp details as well. I know it has been AT'd, but was looking into the differences between the two types, and if any one has any examples to post of this year proof 50C piece. Opinions are welcomed.
