ugh, it is the 10th anniv plat set, hopefully there are enough left

ouch. i got mine today. i am sending them in for hopefully large amounts of cash afterward. I never ordered from the mint and if they are loose, that will suck!

I shook the box(SECRET BOX) Poofed thread referance, violently afew times. It doesnt sound like bling bling rattling. I hope my assumption is correct.

The coins capsules do not fit tightly into the platinum coin box. If you put any kind of pressure on 1 side/edge of the capsule it will pop out. actually I would be amazed if any of them came inside of the slot for the capsule. (Yes I am one of the few that actually opened up my package from the mint.)

If you send them to pcgs make sure you get the box back. It is so much nicer than the box that came with the gold 20th set. The magnets that hold the inside of the case up makes a really nice presentation. Too bad they are too valuable for me to keep on display.

I guess the US Mint does not read these forums as this has been a problem since 2006.

You'd think they'd figure this one out especially on your $2,000 purchase!

There was a card in my plat set which said to push on the lower edge of the coins to remove them from the case. However they were wedged in so tight, I had to pry them out with a jeweler's screwdriver to check the reverses. I thought the case was a big improvement over the SAE anniversary set.

I always thought that note was to remove the coin from the plastic capsule and not from the wood box
