Would you Sell A Slabbed Coin

to someone that you knew would crack it out? Or would it depend? I probably wouldn't if there was a chance I wanted to buy it back later.

    Unless there's some extenuating circumstance where the coin were (way out of my price range and) somehow important to the numismatic community, like an 1804 dollar, and were being sold to some lunatic who would crack the piece out just to give it a brillo padding, then I'd definitely sell it.

    If I'm willing to sell a coin, then I don't care if it remains slabbed or not.

    Agree- once it is out of MY possession- I can't regret what the new owner has done.

    but I'm different in a sort of odd way...

    Oftimes one sells a coin with the expectation that the new owner would give the old owner the first chance to buy it back if the new owner ever decides to sell.
