XF45, there's enough wear not to be considered "Almost Uncirculated".

I was going to say XF at first and thought I was being too tough.

After seeing the obv, it might be an XF. I think more likely an AU50.

Not a useful picture to grade off of. Reflected light hide all sorts of things, makes wear look and soft strike look the same.

There are too few marks on the face and fields to be circulated. What appears to be wear seems to be a strike issue. Gold coins that have no field wear/marks/abrasions are uncirculated.

    I will guess MS-65.

The slight wear over the wing feathers, hair , ribbon, and ear makes it look around AU53.

Looks AU-53-ish to me but I also realize the lighting could be making the high points look rubbed...

After the 'oh my gosh' reply, I'll say MS-66...I don't see a lot of contact marks on it.

    How very cool is that?

If that is weak strike that I'm seeing, then I say 64.
  • MS 63-64 2nd tier maybe MS 66-67. Striking issues I think, really nice gold piece.
