The Official numbered "Goodacre" Sacagawea thread...

Ok...There are only five thousand official numbered Goodacre Sackies minted.Out of those supposedly 2500 or half have been released and numbered. They have been encapsulated by ICG and some have a new insert surrounding the coin in the colder. What have the numbers that have been released.??I have seen a mix match of the the numbers with those inserts to older and newer numbers.
Meaning the newer slabs that were released didn't have the insert and then later coins had it and then later coins didn't....!!!
I heve seen auctions of the # 229something and then 4800's .
Any comments or input....as to the highest and lowest #'s that are out there.....??

    Answer is here.

Edited to add, I have #2014.
  • Here's mine with a high number. Here's the way I see it. She was paid out in 5000 specially struck Sacagawea's. They were taken to ICG and graded. I doubt they rolled into ICG in the order of striking. Number 5000 is as good as number 1. I think this is one time where a number doesn't really mean much.

What did matter to me was getting one that was autographed. Not as many as those.

John, why is your coin autographed?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
