I am happy to report that Longacre is in the best of health....

.... because Mrs. L. got the mail and carried the box of Heritage FUN catalogs in the house. image My back was spared.

The catalogs look incredible, including the Platinum Night catalog at over 700 pages, which is thicker than the mere pedestrian Heritage FUN sale catalog. I also got the Superior catalog, which looks like a few sheets of paper when stacked next to the Heritage tomes.

Mine arrived today, as well. Fortunately, it was in the house when I arrived home from work. I do not how it got there and do not need to know. I must confess that it is not as, er, bulky as I remember it being. Perhaps they are using thinner paper stock or something. At any rate, I opened the box in the entry way and made multiple trips up and down the stairs with the volumes. I do not look forward to the day that the catalogs have to be moved downstairs to the RYK Numismatic Library and Thomas the Train Room™. image

Hey, man. It's Thomas the Tank Engine. My three year old would pop you one if he heard you misstating Thomas' proper name. image

I was going to whine once again that Heritage dropped me from the Platinum Night mailing list. I now realize that they were just concerned about an injury to my back . . . .

    Typo.
  • I got a complimentary set. did anyone else.? i got it xmas eve too. nice gift.

My set was delivered by forklift....Unfortunately, my budget is of the weight a dragonfly could lift, so there's something of a mismatch.

PS: It is not true that several catalogers expired during the preparation.
