Seems like it has the C3e reverse. I guess if it is then I have to say that NTC is good for something!
thanks for any input,
bob
NTC MS65
Reverse C3e– Doubled lower reverse with middle outside of right wreath strongly doubled. Top inside of ONE DOLLAR and bottom inside of ERICA letters doubled. Right star doubled on left side. Bottom of eagle’s tail feathers, arrow shafts and olive leaves slightly doubled. III O mint mark.

    Sure looks like it.
    When in doubt, don't.

Yes. See if you can find the MPD on the obverse too. Also, many of these come with a rotated reverse die.

Looks 64 to me. Hard to say from the small photo though

    Here is the MPD.

It is the from my coin that Leroy used for his book shots. His will be better. I couldn't get the focus for the QX3 through the NGC slab. NIce 66DMPL anyway. Here is the whole coin.

No die rotation on mine. That occurred later in production.

The reason I am showing you my whole coin (though it is blurry) is that you can see that blip on top of the denticle below the first 8 in the date. I seem to see the same in yours. That is a cherrypicking secret for this VAM for those who take notes. Can pick them from a bourse case without ever flipping the coin over and taking a loupe to the details. Easy to not let on that it is a desirable VAM at the table.
