I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

Looks good to me as an F, definitely not the VF seller was hoping to subtly imply.

  • Looks like a nice original Bustie... plenty of Obv details...hair, cap, front of dress and clasp... the only weak point is the flattened/worn rim on the Reverse...

Certainly a Fine...a good deal at $75...but I don't think I would have gone any higher...
Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

I think it's hard to find those in that grade with positive eye appeal- that one looks like it has a real nice look to it, and to me is a good deal at that price...

    VF? Really?

With the rim dings and the worn away reverse raised edge and lettering from 1 to 4 o'clock?

Maybe I should send you mine for grading, or maybe I can't grade that series.

I've got several like that, various years of course, and I call them VG to F.

    Wouldn't expect any better.

I'm far from an expert in that area, so I'll bow down to your knowledge, but I still wonder.

No, I wouldn't have gone as high as it went for.

"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."
