I know the Horrors of War set has been reprinted. Has the G-Men ( or whatever the right name for that set is ) ever been reprinted. Who has them, how much ?
The full name of the set is G-Men & Heroes of the Law - ACC #R60. Don't know if the set has been reprinted. If you go to the Net54 Vintage Non-Sport Forum, they have a link to Web Pages showing every card in the set with info. about which cards are scarcer. Sorry but I don't know how to add a link.
30's R Want List:
R73 1933 Goudey Indian Gum - Series 288 - Nos. 118 Also looking for 1953 Parkhurst & 1953 Quaker Oats Ripley's BION.
A softcover book came out about 30 years ago, reprinting many of the oldtime sets--G-Men, Mickey Mouse, Indians, Dixie Lids, even some of the T206s. The cards in the book have perforated edges which you can pop out...I don't think it was comlete sets in the book persay, rather just whatever they could fit on the page. I'll see if I can dig up my copy of it and post some scans.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?
