My wife bought me coins for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, she really, really did!!!! Unfortunately they came in a mesh bag from WalMart and they're chocolate encased in foil!!! Man, I love that woman............................image

  • hey keets, those gold coins, whats the market value? also if you are sending them into NGC or ANACS? I dont think OCGS will slab them.




  • My wife did it right this year. For the first time ever, She had something shipped from Angel Dees. It came late this morning and I was instructed to "Stay away from it!"

    Somewhere on Christmas morning there will be a middle age white guy cabbage patching! image

    well, i think i'll send one of the 38mm 1972 Gold Foil Kennedy Half-Dollars to Russ and i'll make some SHQ Sets from the Washingtons and sell them on eBay. strangely, they were made in Holland!!

    Years ago I could always count on getting coins from my wife. Now she is afraid of getting ripped, so she stopped buying them for me.

    She has bought me coins like my 1942/41 Merc, and my 3 Legged Buffalo to name a couple.

    i think the safest Numismatic gifts are probably supplies or books, but i guess something like a PCGS Platinum membership would be a good thing to receive.
