I am trying to finish a Lincoln Cent collection. I need the years
1909-1935 in VG to XF condition. How much should I look to spend on it excluding 1909-S, 1909-S VDB, 1914-D &1931S.
Can you give me a ballpark idea please.

and proof only--1400/1800 bucks.
Ignoring blunder coins like the 1922 no D ect.

I would suspect you can do it for $150 one day at a local coin show

Sans in XF 24-D, 21-S an 11-S etc, etc, etc.
It's best to set a budget and make that work. You could do it in G-VG for $150-$200. I have a tone of extra's let me know if you want some help.

Yeah...me too!
VG around what you paid $250... Very Good!

<< <i>Couple hundred bucks. I'd recommend nothing below a Fine for a Lincoln and nothing below a VF for the common dates. >>
So can you give me the good or bad news if I did OK on this auction please.

I'd say you did ok, maybe I was a little lowball on my original price quote...
However, if I were you, once you receive the set, I'd upgrade some of those (the common ones in there in low grade) coins. For example, that 1912 in the album is a Good. For about 50 cents, you can get one in Fine.
<< <i>A 1914-S in XF will cost you $150...$75 in VG. Let's not forget the 1911-S, 1912-S, 1913-S, 1915-S, 1916-S, 1917-S, 1918-S, 1919-S, 1920-S, 1921-S, 1923-S, 1924-S....etc. Then we have the D-mints...
$150 for the whole short set w/o the keys???? Today's market, $3K easy.

The 14S is just $20-30 even in Fine condition. If you want to take some VGs off my hands for $75, please let me know. BTW, I don't think anyone understood the original question; I think he meant VG for the semi keys and then higher grades for the commons, which is very doable for under $300. Don't turn the guy off before he even gets started.
For nigh ye be hooked by dee fikel finger o fate.
