Anybody else meet the ebay "Powerseller Challenge"?

So I've met my target thanks to gold buffalos heating up and good Madison sales and a lot of hard work. The target was quite a bit higher than my best period ever before. So to make your target you have to exceed your best 6 weeks ever and do it to coincide with this promotion. I didn't put any extra effort into the promotion as it looked pretty futile and now that I've made it, it looks like I get 1% back on sales during the next 3 days--probably some not very active days.

So by meeting an unlikely and almost 6 figure goal I stand to get back $25 or so. Thanks eBay.

Well, if you didn't put extra effort, cost, resources,etc, into meeting the challenge, then the $25 is free money and nothing to complain about.
If someone did jump through a ton of hoops then finds out the futility, THEN they should be upset

Yes. and I'm hoping I missed something because this seems cheap even for ebay. Ebay fees on my sales for this 6wks are about $3500. --Jerry

Cost of doing business though.
I am surprised some of you higher volume folks don't pay to create a website and do some marketing to get eyeballs there.
Still do ebay but start minimizing the items there...just enough for a presence.

If that above isn't fiscally nice enough to do, then ebay is still worth the fees, right?

PS...just charge more for ink and bill it to Goose

I doubt I could match my $12,000 6 week target I made mid year. Not even trying.

I've been looking for someone to design a website for me for months. I think I'm going to go with a golfer buddy of mine but the cost is way more than i expected. But the way eBay has treated coin sellers this year they deserve a lump of coal. --Jerry

ps Don't get goose riled up. BTW, I just bought $400 worth of printing supplies today.

Think I might of helped on a few but was outbid on all or at least most of them.
Haven't given up on some of them though. Added got the N Dakotas finally.

Yaha. The margins in the highly competitive modern coin business are small and so I've been focusing on volume. I sold the Madison coins out of the box for less than the Washingtons sold for during the first 6 months. But I got a lot of volume. As I've said before, eBay often makes more on coin deals than the dealer does. --Jerry
