That is a half dollar plancet. Great find, Maybe Mr Weinberg could tell you the value. I have few nickel errors on old quarter plancets.

It is not a half dollar planchet.

I got this in a mint set. It is Texas... struck through wire, slabbed MS68.

I believe it to be an off-center broadstrike. It's normal quarter size otherwise.
