1978 Three's Company Thread

Guys, this is more for me to keep track of my own stuff, but I wanted to also share my 1978 Three's Company set pics. I'm sitting at nearly 30% complete for the 44-card set. I was adding the pics to my set, so I figured that I'd share part of the #1 set right now....

    Great cards ArnyVee!

My dad had a reasonably successful career as an actor and did an episode of Three's Company. He says that John Ritter was one of the nicest guys he ever worked with.

It's called "Jack on the Lam" he plays an FBI agent who just wants to ask Jack some questions. Of course the there is a misunderstanding about this and Jack ends up dressing up like a woman to avoid talking to the agents. My dad is the agent in the lighter gray suit. It's from season 4 on disc one.

It is a darn shame he died so young. I always knew he was a very nice guy. Did anyone see him in the movie Real Men. Very funny movie.

John Ritter seemed like a genuinely good person. From what I've read (especially in the Three's Company related books), everyone has good things to say. The only negatives came when John did not discuss anything with his long time co-stars about the spin-off ("Three's a Crowd") even though he knew about it. But, that was a contractual thing and I'm sure it hurt him to not be able to discuss it with his friends like that.

It's a shame about his early death and I would've loved to continue to see him in great parts in movies and television. Alas, all we have are memories at this point. image
