BST for the DarkSide?

Well, I love our (yes I consider myself one of you now!) weekly BST thread but I also like the BST forums....HOWEVER, I think we would benefit from a Darkside BST Forum/section.... Any thoughts? Right now my coin collecting is mainly in the direction of Darkside coins. I have found that the US coin collectors, dealers, and type of coins have turned me off to the US market. I love the old historical coins of Europe, they absolutely fascinate me! So, I was going through the BST forums, wading through past after post after post of US coins, when I said to myslef, "Self.....why not suggest a Darkside BST?!?!". Well, here I am! I'm not sure if this has ever been suggested before or if it is even a possiblilty. As I mentioned, the weekly BST is great for the last second ebay auctions or special deals (keep them coing!) but sometimes if you post a coin it gets lost in the post. If you were able to start your own thread with just your coin in it, as with a BST, then your coins may sell better and also give us a chance to look through more coins with less hassle. Just a thought guys. (Now if I was in the lightside section I would add, "Flame away!" here!"

It's been asked for before, unfortunately our wish was not granted. There was even an ill fated attempt at taking over another BST board (was it the autographs??)--not sucessful to say the least. Fortunately our weekly BST thread does the trick and is ignored by the powers-that-be and those not interested.

Having a thread here makes it easier to find as well, I don't have to sort through 100 irrelevant posts to find it

Thats exactly why we would need our own BST forum. When the weekly BST thread hasn't been bumped for that week I have to sort through the pages to find it. If we use the current BST forum I then have to srot those ALL of the post to find world coins... Having a World/Ancient Coin BST would benefit us....maybe a mod can bring this up to the owners of the forum and make us one!!

One solution a lot of people on the boards have tried is always placing "Darkside" in their BST Forum posts too. That way it filters through all the silver eagles and first spouse coins pretty easily.
