    What about the black spots? Will a coin grade with carbon spots?
    Nice pictures and maybe they are accenting the faults I am seeing. But I see damage on both coins and wonder if they would make it into slabs.

    Tough call, I have had coins with carbon spots in slabs but I have also had them removed with the grade guarantee if they make the coin overly unattractive or of it looks like the coin is getting eaten away. In this case it is hard to tell from the photo.
