  • Well, that took long enough, CD! It's been sitting there for two days.

Since the designated set had the Braddick collection in it, that opened up the possibility of going high or low. Obviously I chose the low road. The powerwas non-specific.

  • High,

I'm laughing my rear off. Do you plan to make this a "competitive" set? Braddick's is almost 20% complete and his set average is just slightly higher than yours.

  • LOL, Bill.

I'm sure that you can dig up an S.L.Q., and make it into the top ten there! imageimageimage

Hmmm, maybe I should break-up my set into five. I could be #s 6-10!!! image

HD I should have learned by now that I really need to be more specific with you. I would have noticed it sooner but between getting a new job and having to deal with a sick family member I just now found it. I am honored though by the name of the set. image

HD, One other thing it took a little longer to find it because I never expected to have to look at the bottom of the list to find it. image

you guys really need ta chill. gonna give yourselves heartatttachs for no reason. I have such a hugh varity of slabbs I could probably start a few other different, but the way you guys go at it, it takes away the fun. Thats exactly why I went with the washington Statehood....its pretty much a closed set, and none of us are kom-a-kazi enough to drop 2500 to generate a pr70 to upgrade it.

enough said...ok boys, back to set bashing

??? Did you mean this post for a different thread? Maybe I'm missing something, but what you said appears to have no relation to what is happening here.

  • CD,

I think we need to clarify the situation. The power peaks on the morning of the Tuesday closest to the middle of the month. It is activated by the triple dare issued by cosmicdebris specifying a set to be registered.

If I have any of the specified coins, I am compelled to register. However in the suggested case of Carson City gold, I have nary a piece so that the triple dare is of no consequence.

Also, though I may register a set, once the power is satisfied by registering, I am free to decide whether to pursue improvements to the set or not.

For example, having registered a low ball set of CSN Type, I have to decide whether to continue to challenge Braddick, the acknowledged master of the worst known set. (I'm betting I'll rise (lower) to the challenge)
