Does soaking Zinc plated Cents work to help remove....

remove spots? Ya know... those little spots that look like Water spots?

Can there possibly be any way to help prep zinc plated Cents? (post 1982)

This cheap alloy sure does turn real nasty, really fast in circulation. Brand new Cents can look downright TERRIBLE in no time flat.

I have ZERO idea how to prep such an alloy for grading. Anyone care to shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance! image

    you mean, copper-coated lincolns?
no way to remove just the water spots on those.
like milk spots on silver coins. once you got em thats it.
sometimes it takes alot of circulation wear to remove that stuff

maybe that blue ribbon stuff for copper might help on fairly fresh water spots?
