As in Extra Fine scratches?

Usually a coin is overgraded by 1 or two grades. Here is a scratched coin with G details.

They never call it an "Extra Fine." It is "EX-FINE."

It is an "ex-Fine," actually, as are all coins that grade lower than Fine. But it's had more wear since then, AND got scratched up.
