<< <i>Hey Mac, what is the origin of this piece (well don't tell us if confidential obviously)?? >>
No, tell us anyway. I'd like to know the grade too on behalf of many politically correct Darksiders who never ask this question.

Origin? Can't find it in any auction archives, eh? It was purchased by me in a private treaty deal about 4-5 years ago.
D., For grins I had PCGS grade this one about 2 years ago, and they dubbed it an MS65. Maybe the bit of die rust held it back from a 66; it is obviously struck from LDS dies. What one can't really tell from the images is the hard semi-PL fields in places of the obverse, mostly right at the edge of the portrait extending from the back of the neck and continuing completely around to just under "DEI". The overzealous mint worker also gave a nice polish to the portrait just under Victoria's chin and down the fronT of her neck.
The reverse is satiny with some die clashing as can be seen.
