I went 0 for 8 on my cross overs, any guesses on how I did on the 6 PCGS coins I submitted for regrading?
I thought that at least 6 of the 8 coins submitted to be crossed over were going to be easy. At the same time I gave them 6 Seated Dimes to be regraded as I felt they were undergraded. Any guesses on how I did on those 6 regrades?
3 of the 6 were upgraded. 2 of the coins I was the original submitter of and both of those upgraded.

That's my batting average too for upgrades in old PCGS holders.
But darn it, I also have a perfect cross rate too......0%

<< <i>6 for 6 -- all downgrades! >>
Don't think that can happen on regrades.

Maybe you're to optimistic on your grades,
<< <i>Not to put you down , But 0 for 8 on crossover and 0 for 6 regrade ( upgrade)

Someone already noticed the grades were made public.
While PCGS did not cross over any of the coins I sent in they did upgrade 3 of the 6 dimes I resubmitted.
Why do you think I seem to be able to pick PCGS dimes that will upgrade (and by 11 points total on the 3) but none that will cross over?

To maintain appearances.
If you're so sure of yourself, crack them out and resubmit them.

If I knew the answer I would rejoin the PCGS registery. They only way I am cracking coins out of slabs is to put them in a Dansco album or a custom Capital Plastic holder.

'11 points total on the 3' means you were probably resubmitting AU55-58 or AU58-61 on several of them. This is crapshoot area for the TPG's ... you never know what you're gonna get.
Sorry to say it has less to do with your prowess than to do with innate inconsistency at those grades.
