The only one I know of is the one that ebay emailed to certain ebayers depending on amount spent during the year. (I think) I say that cuz I have seen a few different denomintions, but only the one emailed to me was accepted.

I believe the coupon codes only work to those who were emailed them by Ebay. If you did not get one than, you can't use them. Is this correct?

I always delete any messages from eBay without looking at them. I probably shouldn't have done that. I've only 2K or so this year in purchasing, I may not meet the cut, but I hope I didn't delete anything.

Can I use this in combination with www.live.com?

For example, an item for $1000 will be $900 instantly. Then one can save an additional $200 from www.live.com. Does it work this way?

Yes I recieved a coupon. It was available thru my ebay and was also emailed to me. It was for 10% off up to $100.
Used it for a $550 purchase and it subtracted $55 great!!

It appeared again...but said it maxed out..so it may be a one time thing.
Now I have another..we shall see.

This is what I did. Never got a coupon code from ebay, but used the one posted on this thread. The item was a 1986 Panda coin (1 ounce gold). It was BIN $1020. I used www.live.com for the $200 discount. I entered in the coupon code and it awarded me a limited discount of $100. When I tried to pay for this item via paypal, like I am suppose to, it took away the discount stating:

I figure since I was not emailed the code, my account is not recognized. I used to have a different paypal account, but it was permanently closed because I did a charge back thru my credit card for an item that was significantly not as described.

I wish there were other ebay or paypal promotions I can milk during my buying spree.

How is www.ebates.com like? You have to give your email addy and they will send you coupon codes. I am wondering if anyone has tried them because I do not want to risk anymore spam on my email right now.
