Both were very successful and have huge egos, Parcells seems more driven to succeed while Jimmy is more interested
in resting on his laurels. I guess that doesn't really answer your question but that is my initial impression of both of them.

    Call it a draw.

Jimmy was a great College Coach---good Pro coach with excellent people skills--which most coaches lack. Jimmy reminds me of a city inspector--never good enough to play, but knows everything inside and out....

Parcells--propably a top 10-15 coach candidate. A great football mind a no tolerant attitude.
  • Based on their track record it has to be Parcells. Taking multiple teams from god awful to playoff and super bowl appearances gets the nod.

Jimmy J hands down. He obviously is not getting any respect for putting the Dallas dynasty together when he was there. He did everything. He was in charge of the draft, signing free agents and everything else that goes with it. He orchestrated the "Minnesota robbery" when they traded Herchel Walker for about 50 vikings..lol. Then after he assembled his team, he coached them to 2 superbowl wins. There would have been a few more in there but Jerry Jones thought he could run it which obviously was a huge mistake.

When Jimmy "left" the team won another superbowl with Barry "Idiot" Switzer but we all know who's team that was. Jerry Jones is an A-Hole for putting his own ego above the team and all the fans. He got what he deserved at the a expense of the team and every Cowboy fan out there and I think he is a dick for that.

Parcells is a great coach and a good judge of talent. He had four years to get the Cowboys to the superbowl which he failed to do. Jimmy already had one superbowl won within that time span and on the verge of another.

Hate to say it but I would go with Jimmy.

If it weren't for him, the Cowgirls of the 90s would have been nothing.

Edited to add: Yeah, what he said ^
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

They are both bad, berry bad men for having coached the Dallas Cowboys.
