If someone contacted you wanting to buy a high dollar item but is requesting COD, would you do it?

    Not even.
    Wanted: Bell Brands FB and BB, Chiefs regionals especially those ugly milk cards, Coke caps, Topps and Fleer inserts and test issues from the 60's. 1981 FB Rack pack w/ Jan Stenerud on top.

    I did it once and didn't have a problem. I could have gotten screwed though. Plus it takes a while to get your payment.

    The shipper (ie FedEx, UPS) does not validate the payment, just accepts it before giving the package up. If the buyer wanted to give a bad check a phony MO or something else, you'd be screwed.

    I wouldn't do it again. I think I got lucky.

    You can always offer an escrow service...
