What kind of coin is this?

I seem to remember something that looked like this in colonial U.S. coinage, but this one isn't it. Maybe a token or something? This is from a one of my wife's travel customer's coin box, there's more stuff in there he will send me thru photos, including U.S gold (1923 St. Gaudens is one of the pieces).

This is a Bust and Harp half cent Canadian trade token, struck in Dublin, based on the Irish Regal pennies, for use in Lower Canada. Actually struck in 1825, but pre-dated to avoid the importation laws in place at that time.
PS - I believe it to be an original, not an imitation (which were struck shortly after these appeared in reg circulation, aka contemporary counterfeit.

That Ebay coin looks very similar, but the one I have doesn't appear to have the lettering near the rim, unless it's been worn away. Is there more than nominal value on this coin (I saw the $20 starting bid for the Ebay example)?

Here's the other coin he sent a picture of - this one I did know about! image
