ID help

Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I need help determining possible silver content or value of several old coins. I would very much appreciate any assistance I could get.

The first I have been able to identify from the remaining legends. The date and most of the lettering is gone. It is a 1797 George III British Penny in very poor (as in heavily worn) condition.

The second has Republica Mexicana and 1882 on one side, and a V on the other side.

The third has L'Union Fait La Force and 1862 on one side, and Leopold Premier Roi Des Belges on the other. It is a 10-centime coin.

The fourth has Ein Kreuzer 1816, and then K K OESTERREICEISCHE(?) SCHEIDEMUNZE. It looks to be copper.

The next two are both 1894 20-centesimi pieces. Regno D'Italia is the only legend. They have what appear to be mintmarks on the same side as the date, but on the bottom of the coin, KB and R, respectively.

The sixth appears to be from Switzerland. Confoederatio Helvetica, 1884, and 10 appear on the coin.

The last is a 1960 25-centavo piece from the Philippines.

My 1800's Krause is a few years old, but:

    #2 is likely KM399 - Mexico 1882 5 Centavos, Copper-Nickel. F=.50, VF=$1.00, XF=$2.50, UNC=$7.50

    #3 is likely KM22 - Belgium 1862 10 Centimes, Copper-Nickel. VG=.10, F=.50, VF=$3.00, XF=$6.00, Unc=$20 (There is a variety with "Dot after PREMIER" that has values of VG=$1.00, F=$3, VF=$20, XF=$50

#4 is likely KM213 - Austria Kreuzer - Copper (There are 7 different letters after the date) but the more common prices are about F=$2.00, VF=$6, XF=$12, Unc=$35.

    #5's are likely KM 28.1/28.2 Italy 20 Centesimi, Copper-Nickel. There are 1894KB and 1894R, but they're both fairly close in value, about F=.50/.75, VF=1.25/2.00, XF=5.00/7.00, Unc=$20/$28, BU=$60/$100

#6 is likely Switzerland 10 Rappen, Copper-Nickel. No values on this, the 1800's book ends at 1876, believe they left out KM27?

    #7 is KM189.1 1960 Phillipines 25 Centavos, Copper-Zinc-Nickel. XF=.30, Unc=.50, BU=.75

  • Thanks. I guess my hopes for getting something silver were shot down. I also have a 1926 Greek coin that I cannot read at all. Do you have any ideas as to where I can find pictures to try and identify it?

I don't seem any 1926 Greece Silver coins, most are copper-nickel.

You can try here to identify it: Try the 20/50 Lepta and Drachma/2 Drachmai as a starting point.

Thanks, that was very helpful. It looks like a 2 Drachmai coin, as it is identical to the one that they show there.
