It's an O-106 R-3
says buy me. this one does not.
plus, i do not care to try to profit of it. maybe someone else?!?
i have said it before and will say it again. a low ball set should not
be based entirely on grade. eye appeal is just as a big a factor
as a MS collection.
in this case you might as well buy a unstruck planchet. there just is
not much to look at.

I just found my new "pocket piece"
My old one , a 1964-d Kennedy is in PCGS plastic ( PO01 ) .
That took 30 something years ! This should be ready in maybe one..........
Thanks again..

People don't always buy coins for aesthetic reasons, or for grade reasons. Sometimes, people buy coins for the history they've seen.
then any condition will do if you are basing it on the date alone eh?
but i think you mean the path they have traveled.. more so then the
age in reference to a well worn coin like this where almost all the
details are gone?
thanks for sharing your opinion.
<< <i>Hey, bet you guys didn't think someone could attribute this one !

SomeGuyFromMichigan, nice job on the attribution! I agree with you. Did you use the die crack connecting all of the stars on the left as the diagnostic?
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
No, I used the T to I alignment plus the alignment of the verticle of the
(TAKING A STRAIGHT LINE ALONG THE BACK OF THE 5) 5 to the claws.
Funny thing when I first looked at it and checked Overton's I thought
this was one of the R-5's.
But with closer inspection an R-3.
If you notice the reverses of 09, 4 have this T to I alignment
and it is the only one with this 5 alignment.
The last one made it positive !
