Those are very nice pictures. I noticed that you like coins that have some scattered toning. What those coins remind me of are the Merc's that I collected in the 1960s and then left one of the old Whitman albums with the sliding plastic for the past 40 years. Many of these coins developed similar toning. So, as I looked at your coins, it was easy to wax nostalgic about these coins being lovingly placed in a similar album years ago.
You must have taken these pictures using a digital camera rather than a scanner, right? They are really clear. I just got a digital camera and as soon as I can figure out how to do so, I want to take pictures because they are such a good way to share a collection, as you have done.
My bottom line assessment is: Nice coins and nice pictures! Indeed, so nice I see absolutely NO reason to add any other coin to your collection!!

P.S.: I just went back and looked at the 2 coins you just up-graded. That 1931-P you added sure looks close to being FB. I know it's hard to tell from a picture, but I've seen coins on ebay that PCGS graded as FB that looked identical. I presume there would be some difference if I saw the coins in person, but that 31-P sure does look close....
I think I'm glad your new coin is NGC so that you can't immediately move even further ahead of me! Now, for some comments, I'm trying to check to see if an 18-S is a new addition to your set, but I'm getting a PCGS error message. (So I also can't take a look at the 24-S you mention.) The 18-S should be a nice addition to your set. It surely doesn't look "played with," that is, it doesn't look like it just took a bath! (My personal taste is toward coins that took a bath not too long ago, but I can easily see the originality that you value. I can also appreciate the wild toning that I've seen on some coins on this board, but I don't think I'll be in the forefront paying 10x the normal price for the toning!) On the reverse, is that a die break running along the DIM or is it an aspect of the toning?
The only problem with your new dime is the NGC slab because if you want to play in PCGS's ball park, you'll need to get the coin crossed. I haven't tried crossing anything for about 4 or 5 years but from what I read here, it's a dicey proposition. Hopefully PCGS won't have much of a problem with this coin if you try to cross it. It's pretty clear there's no hint of AT--it just looks really nice and original.

I agee with Mark, that '31-P sure looks like it has the bands. I also can appreciate the bands on your '45-P!!!
Like I mentioned on my S.L.Q. thread, I just got a new camera (nikon coolpix 775), but am having problems downloading to the 'puter. I hope that I can soon get your kind of results.
Good luck on your cross-overs.
Regards,
Don
BTW - just upgraded my '28-P. It came in the mail today, and it's a beauty! '28 ms65FB
