Looks like somebody thought they had some DDO's.

That's the only thing I can think of that would explain an express submission for those two coins.

    It would have taken all of 2 minutes to research that they were not real DDO's.

    Their loss, PCGS's gain.
    Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

    I finally got to see an example of the real deal at the Houston show...there's no mistaking that coin. I agree with the machine doubling scenario...

    There are a lot of machine doubled 69-S cents and this is a common mistake people make. I just hope that the submitter didn't start spending the money yet.

    When I was at Heritage last week I examined the one in the upcoming auction for about 15 minutes. An amazing coin!!
