The next step...branding a slab instead of just stickering the slab?

Stickers can be removed, but branding is forever.image I wonder if the CAC will eventually start branding their approval on the slabs. I can smell the plastic melting and see the red hot branding iron.

What the heck. Send NGC coins to PCGS and get a PCGS logo branded on them if they agree with the grade for $5.

  • A brand would be easier to fake than a sticker. I have a better idea, just scrap the whole sticker/brand idea and use your brain as to what coins are PQ for the grade.

Do we realy need to have robots or trained monkeys in the business anyway? Learn to grade.image

This is one of the ideas they are actually working on so competitive slabs can be used in the registry.

For some reason I dont see PCGS EVER placing their name on an NGC slab.

Yeah learn to grade lol, love that refrain. Next time you see one of the bigwigs from a TPG at a show ask them what per cent of us and dealers really know how to grade. What per centage of folks on here would you trust to give out a grade that you would put your money up for a coin. The biggest myth here is that posters here know how to grade accurately. At most there is a couple of handful of folks here I would trust, myself not included.
