Dear Santa,

I've been a good boy almost all the time this year and would only like one gift from you. It's a 1836 Half Dime, the picture of it is below so you know which one to grab for me. Thanks. Your milk and cookies will be on the shelf.

Haha you like that one Russ? The "hk1" was added by my photo hosting company, makes it look kinda weird.

You ask Santa for a coin like that and then tell him to get his own cookies and milk on the shelf? image

So what would it normally take to get a coin like this. Is it up for sale or only a dream owned by someone else?

FUN Signature auction, HA.com, 1836 H10C Small 5C MS65 PCGS. CAC. V-6, LM-5, R.2. This variety is readily identified by its various repunched stars and letters. The dies are also prominently clashed. A gorgeous Gem whose fire-red and forest-green peripheral patina frames the nearly untoned centers. Population: 7 in 65, 3 finer (11/07).
    From The Madison Collection.
