WTB: Coin from 1847

My son just finished reading Across the Wide and Lonesome Prairie: The Oregon Trail Diary of Hattie Campbell, 1847 for school. He really got into it, and I thought that I would reward him with not another Wii game image but a coin from 1847. I could give him my 1847-D QE, but he is going to have to do a lot more to earn that one. image

Instead, I thought that I would ask the forum members if they had anything to sell dated 1847. I am not looking for anything especially expensive like an 1847 proof quarter in a 6 holder. I am looking for a problem-free coin, which would be of interest to a nearly nine year old. Perhaps a VF or XF large cent or quarter. Please PM me if you have anything to offer. Thanks, RYK

Got this one.....it needs the "Longacre camel-hair copper brushing" around the date. It's got a cool RPM also.
Can't remember what the Rev. looks like, if it's totally problem free or not.
    $22 shipped.

Just a thought but a Seated Dollar would be so cool for a young'in. It's got the history and coolness factor easy. Plus it's huge and in a small childs hand would feel so much bigger than any other coin he's ever held. Maybe one in the Good-Fine range. Wouldn't really be too expensive and the kid could carry it around with him. Hell, even get a problem coin (cleaned, damaged, etc...) to keep the price real low.
