For the curious, that's attempted in this thread, Post order # for your 10th Anniv Plat set!!

At this writing, about 67,000 orders have been placed at the Mint since they went on sale: recent order# 27,469,xxx minus opening order# 27,536,xxx.

How many of those include Plat Sets is anyone's guess!

Its like trying to guess how many jellybeans are in the jar from 10 feet away. My guess is that only about 18K jellybeans would ever fit in this jar. However, if the price of platinum continues to climb that jar just might grow.

When I started preaching to buy precious metals people thought I was a kook. Platinum was way up there at $600/oz, gold at $364/oz and silver at 4.65/oz. People still think I'm a kook but not just any kook but a wise old kook.

Not much downside on this set at this point with only $400 between the mints price and raw platinum.
