The best time of year, and place to sell your collection

As we approach one of the largest shows of the year, I was thinking about the coins that will be appearing for auction/sale in Orlando.
And which of the sales, if any, would I want my coins(if for sale) to be in.
So I was considering:
The auction companies, the timing of their sales, the number of lots to be auctioned, the possibility of other similar coins and grades being in the same sale, the state of the coin market economy, ...
And I have come to some different conclusions, depending on the type and value of the coins incolved.
I like the earlier sales, for coins that will be purchased mostly by dealers for their clientele. And to be re-sold at the show starting later in the week.
For collector value dates and grades, the Heritage sale seems more suitable, as the majority of collectors will be at these sales, after they arrive at the show.
For a lesser value collection, like a group of proof lib or shield nickels. in average grade 64/65, a smaller show might be better, so as to not get lost in the thousands of lots at FUN.
There is another reason to prefer the earlier auctions, if you plan to be there. You can pick up the non-sold coins after the sale, and perhaps find buyers on the floor when the show starts.
Next concept- the best time and place to buy coins.

I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
