First newp Morgan in about 2 months... what do you think?

Its getting harder & harder to find what I like in this series as I progress through the last 15% of coins needed...
So its been a few months since I purchased any Morgans until I found this on Teletrade...
This is a tough date in MS and I remember seeing an AU55 at a coin show for around $600 and thinking it was a little high and not nice enough...

Glad I waited for this one... I think I did well, what do y'all think?

Nice coin. I love Morgans Dollars in them old ANACS holders.

Looks solid on the grading, maybe even a touch better than a 50 from what I can tell. That is a tougher date. Good catch!

Looks like good eye appeal for the au grade and that particular date...

Yeah, I saw that one with the low serial number. Nice for the grade in that the grade is dead on technically correct but is superior in eye appeal for the grade. C4/C3 reverse but not a rare variety or one I don't already have so I passed. Too many others I was chasing (and won). You got one really nice coin. It's a keeper.

edited to add>>>Just looked at the realized price. Holy cow! Should have gone north of $300. Too many damned koolade drinkers out there who didn't even look I bet. Their loss.

Yeah, I think I might have gotten this one for a steal...

I can't wait to see it in hand and I feel it may be closer to 53-55 than 50.

Either way, I'm happy.

1881-S -- quite rare
1885 -- hope I didn't mis-cherry this one again (there's always the return option)
1885-O -- first MS one I have found that was LDS
