How much is an MS65 set of silver Roosevelts worth?

A raw set from 1946-1964. Anyone know?

Does the Greysheet have a bid/ask for these kinds of things?

That's about right. Maybe a little more if they're already in a nice album.

Real world prices (of course raw would signify approximate MS65 grades) were about $110 if you are selling and $135 to buy in the last year or so. Bullion won't affect them that much . . . . .

I paid close to $500 for a set last year that netted out at MS65 across the board. Many were toned.

True gems will get a substantial premium from a knowledgeable buyer
but if they are raw he'll want to see it in hand.

Roosie sets rarely trade at much of a premium because they are rarely
gem. In the days that these were assembled people didn't care so much
about quality. Even if they did it was very difficult to locate nice examples
    of some dates.

The same applies today; these sets are very difficult to assemble as raw
gems. It's gotten much tougher over the decades rather than easier. Not
only are most of the rolls gone now but many others have been checked
for gems. I'd guess the vast majority of all later sets in raw gem were pur-
chased slabbed and then cracked out.

Are you confident the set is all gem? Remember that it's only specific dates
that are tough so weak ones will probably be these dates and significantly
impact the value. Silver Roosies don't start getting large premiums until the
    MS-66 level.

Bruce Amspacher related a story back in the pre-1990 slab days about having to assemble a PCGS MS65 set of Roosies for someone.
There were not a lot of them around at the time and finding all the dates cost some serious $$. In the end, he had something around $4000 to $5000 (as I recall) into the set. Cool story. And at the time, he knew that as a raw set it was worth at most $100.
