Deadbeat bidders on eBay - On the Rise ??????

I have been selling stuff on ebay for quite a few years and have never had any problems..............

In the last month or so I have had 3 deadbeat bidders - is this an increasing trend, or have I just been lucky until now??

    Last 90 days:

Ebay 421 sales, 0 deadbeat bidders.

Off ebay, perhaps 10% of the sale numbers, 2 buyers who flaked and didn't send payment for 4 digit purchases.

  • I may have one on the line right now. Not sure. Feedback 2 (2 good, 1 bad for no pay). We will see. I think we see more this time of year, because new people sign up for ebay around the holidays. Some of them turn out bad.

My NPB's run about 5% on average for the year. Late summer is usually the worst time as it approaches 7-10%.
  • I havn't had many problems, but i have reported, a few! So i'll say you have been, pretty lucky
