Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.

P.S. Anyone know where I can load up on Shaun Hill rookie cards? Other than before tonight, they were buried in someone's box of commons.
<< <i>I'm sure the Pats are too happy about the 49ers win ... (and neither am I ... a 49ers fan) ... considering the worse the 49ers do, the better draft pick the Pats get ... assuming they use it and don't trade it away.

Shaun Hill looked decent against a horrible defense. He's no long-term starter, that's for sure. All he did was prove that Alex Smith shouldn't be the starter either.
edited to add: but it feels good to get a win again!
p.p.s- why the hell did Nolan go for it on 4th and 2 in the 4th quarter when they were in FG range and already up by a TD?
I'm assuming that they're losing 'their own' pick, but still keep the rights to the 49ers pick due to last year's draft trade?
Once the Dolphins end up with the #1 pick officially, they'd do well to trade down and pick up a second 1st round pick or multiple additional picks (ie a 2nd rounder and 3rd rounder). We need players...not just one will do the trick here.

still on the team, or maybe it was the 1st rounders from the last 6 years. Can't remember,
but they need a new player personell and gm

Last year's draft was pretty good with filling holes and I'm assuming that this coming year we will trade Jason Taylor and get a decent draft pick for him and then we have our additional 2nd rounder by dealing Chris Chambers. So, we should end up with a #1 pick and (assuming Taylor gets traded for a 2nd rounder) 3 2nd round picks. Then, if we can trade that #1 pick down to like #4-7 and pick up an additional late 1st rounder or 2nd rounder or something, then we could end up with 5 top players (first two rounds) from the draft.
We might still be a couple of years away, but I really like how Cameron is running things and it's just a matter of time before those 6 to 7 games that we've lost by 3 points or less become wins. Then, we pull out a couple of 'they should've lose that game' victories and we're an 8-8 or 9-7 team. Then, after that, we should have some dominating seasons if we can sign the important pieces of the puzzle to long term deals. I'm ecstatic because this is exactly how I'd build the team.

And Saban was the bad guy for leaving them at 8-8 last year, funny.
