Help please.... with cleaning brass

I know its not coin related sorry but I am desperate.
I have an antique Russian Brass Samovar relatively expensive.
It was in pristine condition. I put into my garage unprotected last year and forgot about it and to my horror has become tarnished and green is appearing.
Please tell me what I can use on it to restore it to its beautiful condition.

i used good ol' brasso on my brass in the army

brasso is tops for any brass cleaning, but whatever this thing is your talking about, if its coinage I wouldnt go rubbing brasso on it.

Coffee is my all time favorite drink!!
The best I can see its late 1800's early 1900's not to old but alot of medals and awards on it
