Wouldn't it be interesting if CAC hosted a "World Series of Fourth Party Grading"? I'd like to see how the best graders agreed or disagreed with the CAC judgments on a completely random selection of TPG graded coins.

Anyone care to predict how it might go?

Poof is really not an option... but what we can take away from this is that grading has a subjective component that can prevent even the better and most respected graders from assigning the same grade to a coin. It does not mean that one is wrong or the other has a greater claim to the correct answer. Think about it for a moment... there may be better answers but not necessarily correct answers.

Who would be the best graders....since it would not be the TPG's?

The CAC is in critical condition, serious measures must be taken to prevent it from dying. Maybe they should start an alternative to ebay filled with CAC blessed slabs.
