lincoln cent variety guy's

couple questions...

1. has rpm #12 ....(aka D/D/S) .....is it still considered as this designation?...... (D over D over S)
I have it in 2 different anacs holders.

tag-A ....1956-D/D/S WOMM-001
tag-B ....1956-D/D RPM-12

ARE both correct?....has one of them been disproven?...has the D/D/S been removed from the listing?...(I know that the D&S under
the 19 has been pulled from the coneca files.

coneca lists rpm-12 ....but doesn't list it as a D/D/S...just "D/D"

so...ist it?...isn't it?

2. is the 59-D with the extra D inside tail of 2nd 9....is it also a rpm?...just a novelty?...valuable?

thanks in advance for any help.

  • As far as I know:

    1. The 56-D D/D/S is listed as Rpm #12 by Coneca. Crawford, Wexler and Coppercoins list it as a D/D/S OMM.

The 56-D/S "S under the 19" was removed by Coneca but not by Wexler, Crawford or Coppercoins.

    2. The 59-D, "extra D in the 2nd 9" is listed by Wexler, Crawford and Coppercoins. I don't think Coneca has ever listed it. The value is in the $30.00-$50.00 range for an Anacs 64 Red.

    Hope that helps a little.
