Need help with these two pennies. 1970-s Small Date and 1960-D small/large date

First off, is the 1970-s a small date high and the 1960-D a small over large date? The 1960-d is hard to tell from the pics but when I angle it, the 9 looks doubled, the 6 looks like it was a 0 with a cut in the top and another 6 placed on top, and the 0 looks to have another 0 ontop of it, slightly smaller and shifted to the right just a bit.

Will the 1960 grade with a reverse like this or will it come back environmental damage? Can I dip it in to remove that?

  • The 1970-S looks like a large date to me. The large dates have a notch on the inside where the two segments of the 7 intersect, and the small dates don't. Your 1960-D is a small over large date. Note the RPM with the extra D almost touching the 9. I can't offer any method of removing the green spot.
