Here's an 1879S....Not really sure on a the VAM for this one....I just liked the color

An 1883-O...This one should be semi-obvious...but how much is it worth?




An 1898-O...



And finally, my new pocket piece. A 1923 S Peace Dollar. What do you guys think it grades right now?

The '83 is a solid 64, with a sticker.

The 36A (readily differentiated from the rarer 22A by the chips in the ear) looks about MS62 to me. Unfortunately, they are not as rare as they are interesting. Haven't watched valuation on that on lately. You have a little obverse peripheral weakness but the strike was strong enough to bring up the E clash. I have seena number of these with all of the diagnostics but little or no evidence of the E, including an NGC 66 of my own.

1883-O is VAM 36A, and the 1880-O looks like an overdate (I have to check which one). Nice. I don't know the 98-O off the top of my head. Near date and tilted mintmark, I guess.

I've seen these as well. They're officially called VAM 36, but technically they're VAM 36A LDS, since the VAM 22A was struck first.
