Paid almost $10 for a proof 1961 Franklin on EBay the other night . . .

and when it arrived this afternoon I was more than a little disappointed to see that is was not a cameo--as it had been advertised to be in the EBay listing.
Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhh!!!
Then I got out my loupe and noticed (even through the original mint cellophane) that it's a nice, clear, DDR.
Are those things worth anything?

If anyone can post or refer me to a good photo of the high value '61 DDR, please do. I'd love to compare what I found to the real deal.
Thanks!

<< <i>There are many DDR's for these. Some have no premium, some have a small premium, and one is worth the big bucks. There are also many machined doubled coins.

Hi Russ great quote on the half glass senerio. I think it depends on what you have in the glass and if you have a lid on it. Yaha
showed up, it was not.
I feel your pain, but I've gotten into the habit of treating most ebay sellers of raw coins as liars. I may miss
a good deal here and there, but at least I haven't been stiffed.

I'd say the majority are in fact not liars.
