(: A New Way to View your coins... Let's take into the 3rd Dimension! :)

certainly not perfect... but a new process i am working on utilizing my 3D animation abilities.... keep in mind that this comes from a straight on photo... not angled shots from a camera.

Interesting. The more touched up great looking photos I see the more I want to try to learn more about PS. But at this rate I'm never going to get any time and energy at the same time off from work. These 12+ days at work 6 days a week are killing me.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

    That is very good.

    Not enough reeds. image

    Cool picture!
  • Very cool. I see I'm a couple steps behind you in Photoshop just like I was a couple steps behind you hitting the Buy It Now button on the Discovery Sac. Boy that was the worst mistake I made all year.

You've got to be tickled with that purchase even though it was a lot of cabbage at the time.

Are you using Lightwave or something along those lines? I worked on a few animations that were on the History Channel show Tactical to Practical. It was for work I did in the Air Force. Pretty cool stuff. I imported digital elevation maps from the US Geo and then figured out a way to import real flight data also so the animations were "real life representative". We were working on an automatic air collision avoidance program (Auto ACAS) and the animations were the key in non team members being able to visualize what we were doing and how the system really worked.

Sorry, I can't find any videos that are public releaseable. These are screenshots of some animations I did. The aircraft are situated over Edwards AFB.

Looks pretty cool man. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the edge on the big image at top of the collage a created edge and not the actual edge of the coin?

Here's a way to get the actual edge of the coin featured. image

yes... all angles in the image have an artificial edge.... and the relief is artificial too... i know it's not perfect or 100% accurate... but was my first shot at it and will get better as i play with it more.... sweet half dimes and nice composite! image
