Image file size help needed

I can't get this new icon photo to 10kb or less. The lowest I can get it is 12kb.

Can anyone convert this to 10kb without noticeably losing image quality and without shrinking the physical size of the image?

For anyone else having this problem,
Will need to use Photobucket or similar.Send to photo editing program to resize, copy to file, post file.

When I right-click the picture and check properties, it says 9,749 bytes.

When I view the properties of the image I posted in the OP it says "Size: 9.52KB / Size on disk: 12KB"

Is not that large "Size on disk" going to stop me from being able to load it as an icon?





Thanks shmort6552, I really would like one at the same physical size as the first pic but if I can't then I'll use yours.
